Not Just For Workouts Anymore!

We have all worn sweatshirts to work out, keep warm or to support our favorite sports team. Often we wear our husband's, boyfriend's or brother's sweatshirts which resulted in big baggy shirts.

Well, no more, my friends. The new trend is to wear better fitted, stylish sweatshirts for all sorts of occasions. Even fashion designers are making stylish sweatshirts. Some have extensive designs, some are simple, some are now jeweled and some are in beautiful colors.

They have even become appropriate for going out shopping, dining or even for work. Check these out!

These sweatshirts are still fun but not the big baggy shirts we used to wear.
We love how blogger Andy Torres paired her classic gray sweatshirt with a straight-cut striped skirt. The look is comfy, cool, and absolutely spring-appropriate. Extra points for the look's interesting small touches, like the knotted belt, and the skirt's cool length that shows a just a bit of leg (and showcases a pair of ankle boots.)

Milano street style-Spring 2014. Someday I have to get a step-through. I love my bike, but a true Dutch bike would be awesome.

So look for better fitting sweatshirts for this Fall. Look at Pinterest for ideas to dress it up (if it isn't already). And try to wear it like a pretty sweater, with a fun attitude and remember that you're not at the gym.

Here's a great quote by an amazing rock star, for wearing your new trendy sweat shirt (and other lovely pieces of clothing, shoes, bags and jewelry), and it's on a gray sweatshirt background!

Until next week, I remain,
Stylistically yours,

Sooz
