Casually Shining!

You can dress casually for lunch with friends or running shopping errands but you don't have to look like you've been working in your garden when you're out and about.

There are several ways to dress comfortably and casually and still look stylish and contemporary.

First, no matter if you are wearing capri pants, shorts and slacks, make sure they fit properly.

Look at the front crotch area and make sure the fabric doesn't pull or gap.  Look behind you to make sure your rear view doesn't stretch badly across the bottom, that pockets at the side stay closed and not pull apart, and that you are wearing a length that flatters your legs and height. You don't want to look chopped up or dumpy.

You have so many tops options:  Shirts, blouses, block tops, tee shirts, tank tops and so many different necklines (which I wrote about several months ago).

Just be sure your bra straps don't show and that your look is appropriate for where you are going.

What you CAN do is wear accessories to dress up your look.

Bracelets are easy to wear, as well, and dress you up beautifully.

You can wear color combinations you never would have worn in the past. Orange with red or hot pink, blue and green, red and purple, yellow and plum...the choices are so varied and can make a wonderful statement.

Your shoe choices are also huge.
From gladiator sandals....

to mules...

to flats...

to heels...

Even to comfy stylish sneakers...

Earrings can really pump up your "cool" factor:

And of course, mixing your clothes patterns is stunning and contemporary.

You will feel good about yourself, people will notice you in a positive light and, sometimes, you get outstandingly better service from sales people. You might even get compliments!

As one of my favorite designers stated so well:

Until next week, I remain,

Stylistically yours,

Sooz
